Future Job(?)

Sincerly, I don't like the questions about work things because I'm afraid of my future in general, However in this case I'll make an exception and I will start to dream in order to a perfect job tha I would like to do.

As we know I'm studing social anthropology, i choose this major because i don't like archaeology and his excavations working all day beneath the sun. I like social sciencies like sociology and I believe social anthropology would be a good tool to know so many things about people, social groups and his culture, besides I like to observe and I'm very good in that, I think. In other hand I've been realized some good aspects of my person like responsability, perseverance and resielience, all of those things would help me to confront the hipothetical problems that I'd have in my uncertain future.
When I think in a good job for me I'd like to work in some job related to tourism or national reserves, like CONAF or SERNATUR for the sample reason that I love nature, speccialy forest and rivers. I know this job is not related with the major that I'm studying, but I really would like to get a job very close from a beautiful national park. However I'm not too sure of that, because I think I would going crazy if I'd stayed so long in the Nature life without any relationship with another human beings.
Other aspect would be important is the money that I would earn in the job, though this is a less important aspect but if I want to have a family and support my parents and my little sister in the future, Money becomes very important to think about in the dream job.

Literature and Books

I don’t have the time I’d like to for reading, so I’m not much of a bookworm, but I enjoy a good botiok, especially ficon ones, specially novels and poetry. My favorite authors are Mario Benedetti, Julio Cortázar, and Manuel Rojas.

The last book I read was Canción de Hielo y Fuego II: Choque de Reyes (A Song of Ice and Fire II: A Clash of Kings) by George R.R. Martin, because I’d watched the TV series and I wanted to see the differences between both versions. The book tells the story of the War of the Five Kings in the fictional continent of Westeros from the point of view of ten different characters, so you can see what’s going on at different places at the same time and how the war affects their lives one way or another.

I really liked the book, but it took me longer than I thought to finish it, almost a month, because it’s very long (more than 600 pages). If you like political intrigues and conspiracies and you have a soft spot for The Lord of the Rings, you’re going to love this book.

Pets?

Pets become an important part in the life of many people, because they give company, love, protection even gratitude to them owners.
I consider myself an animal lover, but this is very different than to be a pet lover, because I love animals as living beings,in fact whenever I can I watch every documentary about animals, animal behavior  from Nat Geo or Discovery Channel. This distinction is important because I think that the pet lovers are people who need animals around them, and sometimes they didn’t  think about to cares that pets need. This argument don’t mean I don’t like pets, just  says that to have a pet implies a big responsability. I like pets a lot, specially dogs because I think they are really the human best friends. History learn to us that Dogs and humans always have been together and this friendship will be stay till the end of time.
I can’t have pets in the floor where I live, because is very small and my sister hates dogs, besides a dog can’t to be happy if not have a wide space where it can to dig, and run freely. However in my home town I have a pretty dog called Lucero. Is a poodle very lively and likes wake me up in the morning, bark to the birds in the yard and is the best friend of my little sister Catalina.

Holidays!!

Holidays are my favorite time of the year. Be it in summer, winter, or whatever, it’s always good to rest from the routine, and if you get the chance of doing it with someone you like, even better.

I haven’t gone on many holidays, but they all have a special place in my memory. I believe the best I’ve had were back in 2001, when my family and I and my cousin Marcela went to La Serena for a week because  my sister had won a TV contest and she paid for the holidays with the money of the price, so we were able to do a lot of things, of which I have very nice memories.  We went to the beach, we did a lot of sightseeing (La Recova’s market is beautiful and the food’s delicious), we went to Gabriela Mistral’s hometown, Vicuña, to Coquimbo’s Cruz del Tercer Milenio, to Punta de Lobos island, where we saw a lot of sea lions…And, of course, we ate a lot of papaya!

As you can see, we did many things back then. The best part of it was that we did it together, as a family.

Note: I couldn't upload the pictures because my internet connection was very slow.

A Country I would like to visit

Well, en first place to travel around the world is an amazing thing that not many people can do for the sample reason that it requiers lots of money. However it doesn't mean that I don't like to travel, in fact I love that. I like to know other places, other cultures and history of many places on earth.
When I was younger my dream was to become in a traveler writter or a traveler journalist, and to know all of beautiful places, cities, monuments and food of every corner on earth.

Nonetheless I started to study anthropology, I still like to travel but the only conuntry that I know besides Chile is Argentina when I went with my class during my last year at school.
One of many countries that I would to visit is the United Kingdom, I think is a Wonderfull country with many centuries of history and Culture, plus my favorite band The Beatles was from Liverpool and I would like to know the places where them played and the streets where them walked. After that i would to visit the Stonehenge ruins and then I'd take the opportunity to visit other famous cities in Europe like Rome or Amsterdam because are very near.

Sincerlly I don't like to think a lot about wich Country I would to visit because in Chile there are many wonderfull places to visit and I would like to know them before to visit the rest of world.
For me it's good for now to watch in Travel and Living Channel the gratest places that I'll never could to know.

My last Term Experience

Well, my last term was a very intense experience mainly because this year I started to work with my partners in Students Council of my faculty. This activity demands many time, but it has been a very cool learing experience.

I think one of most important things that I've learned during last term is the importance of to plan my time between all the task that I have to do, my studies and my friends. That was a new skill that I developed in that period, because after that I was a little unorganizated for to do my work as a student.
The Only one big problem that I have to face, was related by my attendance to some classes, but then I learned that is not necessary to go to every class if you study at home.
In spite of I don't had much time for me, during my leisure I played a lot guitar and that is a thing that make me very happy, for the simple reason that I love music.

Finnaly, my last term would to be reduce in a one word: Intense.
